About the teamThe Platform Operations team at Roku plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless end-user experience across our streaming platform. As a central hub, the team collaborates closely with Content Operations, Editorial, Engineering, QA, and Customer Support to ensure the reliability and quality of our service. Continued success relies on investing in our internal financial controls and processes.  Roku is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer as part of the Technical Operations Department responsible for the end-user experience of the Roku platform, including TRC (The Roku Channel).  You will be working as part of our Global Technical Operations team with the unique opportunity to interact with many different aspects of Roku including, live Operations, advertising operations, Editorial, Engineering, and Customer support.  For this role, we are seeking someone with a good understanding of the AdTech space.  You will support, troubleshoot, and triage issues relating to advertising on the Roku platform.  An understanding of Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) is desirable  What you will be doingPrioritize issues for engineering to resolve and facilitating communication to operational and business stakeholders Work with the broader technical operations team to support Roku infrastructure including Ad services Work with cross-functional teams to resolve day-to-day issues, some data analysis work will be needed  We're excited if you have3 to 5 years of relevant technical experience in video or related technology disciplines Fluent in English Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues and work with engineering and business owners Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Interface with internal and external customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
