Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading Solicitors based in London who are currently looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of 2nd & 3rd line support to users, collaborating with third-party managed service providers as necessary.
* Oversight of physical server operations, virtual machine management, and server replication.
* Comprehensive IT support across all levels of the business.
* Responsible for the day-to-day administration of hardware and software, including deployment and replacement for end-users.
* Management of user accounts and identities.
* Active involvement in Cybersecurity oversight.
* Development and upkeep of monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance, covering networking, servers, and security, with regular reporting.
* Handling audits, procurement, and management of IT assets throughout the company, including software licenses, hardware warranties, equipment distribution, and web domains and hosting.
* Contribution to maintaining and refining IT disaster recovery plans, ensuring robust security measures aligned with industry best practices.
Key Skills Required
* Proficiency in configuring and managing hybrid Active Directory environments.
* Hands-on experience with deploying and administering Microsoft Intune.
*
* Competence in on-premises server and switch configuration, including VMWare environments.
* Skill in developing and managing SharePoint sites.
* Experienced with Ubiquiti and SonicWALL.
* Familiarity with the Sophos suite of security products.
* DNS, DHCP, VLANs
* Experience in setting up and managing VOIP phone systems.
* Strong understanding of GDPR regulations and their implementation in IT practices.
* Knowledge or experience with Firewalls and VPNs.
