Job Description:

A leading Engineering business in the UK is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects and work packages, liaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams, and collaborating with clients to ensure business requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects and work packages, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Liaise with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyze, and control costs.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure business requirements are met, and manage the main contract, including contractual notices and correspondence.
  • Prepare and issue subcontract documentation, and assist in the management and performance of subcontractors.
  • Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment, and prepare project cost and value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognized institution.
  • Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
  • NEC3 experience.
