Salary:

Up to £80k + great perksnLocation:

3 -4 days in city centre Manchester (Applicants MUST be based in the UK without visa/sponsorship requirements)

While collaborating closely with the Associate Director and other senior executives, you will manage a team of developers to ensure smooth project execution from analysis to delivery, aligning with business objectives.

What else will you be doing?

Take immediate ownership of the entire lifecycle of delivery from conception to launchnOversee payroll solutions and ensure new features are successfulnEnsure your team is happy & working optimally with development practices implemented when appropriatenWork alongside the product owner in spotting potential risks and help to solvenAssure smooth operation by reducing dependencies between the solutions.nEffectively communicate objectives for line reports that are understood by all involvednNurture your team and set goals so they remain happy and content in the rolenRemain aware of the wider industry and introduce trendy tactics if appropriatenMaintaining and improve software quality for features built (TDD, Pairing, Peer Review, Static Analysis).nProvide fidelity estimates to the product owner based on the stage of the development lifecycle.nWork with BA’s to elaborate on requirementsnCollaborate with QAs

Core skills needed:

Experience leading software teams with demonstrable line management skills that can nurture figures and help them reach goalsnHands-on experience with dev practices that can lead othersnA background using back-end tech (C# Azure Functions / Framework / SQL Server and/or front-end development in React or similar)nFamiliar with Azure and logicnProven communicator to your team and stakeholders that can negotiate, inspire and influencenBorn motivator that can bring the best out of peoplenA detail-oriented person that is aware of maintenance costs etc.
