As a Construction Work Planner, your main responsibilities will be:

Liaising with Subject Matter Experts to seek advice or confirm technical data in support of

work pack preparation.

Carrying out job walk downs with all relevant stakeholders to confirm work scope, work boundaries, work requirements,

adequacy of proposed safety coordinates and overall workability of work pack.

Preparing an appropriate risk assessment to cover the agreed work scope.

Reviewing and incorporating relevant Operating Experience Feedback into work packs.

Developing work packs in a timely manner, passionate by work pack development milestones.

Developing work packs in a format, resulting in a document that is usable.

Developing and maintain standard work packs for all activities.

Arranging the necessary support resource (internal or external), plant access, and plant conditions to allow effective delivery

of the work scope.

Determining crew size and required durationsnto allow effective delivery of the work scope.

Taking action to resolve issues / conflicts that may present barriers to achieving established milestones providing upward

reference as needed.

Identifying early to the Work Week Manager any restraints preventing timely completion of work packs.

Working with Engineering to identify required materials and initiating the ordering of parts and materials, and confirming

their availability prior to work commencing.

Evaluating job feedback to improve future work packs.

Creating and maintaining planning history archives to allow efficient work pack preparation.

Liaise with contractor work planning resources and take necessary action to arrange plant access, SL resource or advice on

plant risks to support contractor activities where access to plant or use of SL

delivery resources is required.

Confirm with personnel preparing contractor work pack that appropriate controls have been adequately considered to mitigate

against known facility hazards.

Provide mentoring and coaching for lower-level work planners to ensure understanding of IWM process standards and legislative

and regulatory requirements applicable to ensure safe conduct of work.

Providing advice and guidance on issues and opportunities relating to work planning and the Integrated Work Management

process, ensuring stakeholder involvement and notification if issues or

opportunities present an impact on the business or established goals and

milestones.

Highly organised with the ability to priortise workload for site priorities
Being able to deal with urgent requests
Ability to work as part of a team
