Airline Catering Project Manager

The purpose of the role:nWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our global project focused on implementing and rolling out an Airline Catering system. This project primary focuses on enhancing flight catering capabilities, It includes some elements of Finance and excludes payroll, and HR functionalities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in ERP implementations within the aviation or catering industry.
This will be a fixed term contract with a duration of 12 to 24 months.
What you’ll be doing:nLead the end-to-end project management of the Airline Catering System (ERP) POC implementation, from initial planning to post-implementation support.nCollaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.nDevelop and execute project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring progress and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.nCoordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, procurement, and catering departments, to ensure smooth integration and implementation of the Airline Catering system.nManage vendor relationships, including selection, contract negotiation, and oversight of deliverables to ensure quality and timeliness.nConduct regular project meetings, status updates, and reporting to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.nDrive change management initiatives to facilitate user adoption, training, and process improvements related to the system.nEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in aviation and catering operations.

What you’ll have:nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.nProven experience (10 years) in project management, specifically leading ERP implementation projects, preferably in the aviation or catering industrynStrong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and technologies, with a focus on airline catering operations.nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.nExperience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing project budgets and resources.nKnowledge of change management principles, training methodologies, and process optimisation strategies.nAbility to travel internationally as needed for project meetings, vendor visits, and rollout activities.
Desirable:nExperience or background in aviation and/or catering industrynExperience working with diverse teams or stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
