As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and personal development. You will work closely with the dedicated team of staff to create a positive learning environment, which fosters independence, confidence, and social skills.
Responsibilities:
Work with individual students or small groups of students to support their learning and development.
Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet individual student needs.
Help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Provide support during extracurricular activities and school events.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.Requirements:
A caring and compassionate nature, with a passion for working with young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
A willingness to learn and develop your skills, with support from the school's staff.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students.We offer a supportive and inclusive working environment, where staff are valued and encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge. This is full time position, term time only
