Operational Resilience Business Partner (Supply Chain Resilience)

Our client is seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Business Partner to specialise in Supply Chain Resilience. This critical role ensures that their supply chain frameworks are robust and compliant with regulatory standards across the UK and EU.

Role Overview:

As the Operational Resilience Business Partner, you will act as an SME within the third-party risk management process, conducting vendor assessments, supporting service assessments, and challenging vendors and internal relationship managers on supply chain resilience. You will support exit and contingency planning for critical suppliers, providing expertise as a risk domain expert, and ensuring documentation is up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:nOperational Resilience Expertise:

Act as an SME within third-party risk management, supporting the assurance of resilience requirements against critical suppliers.nVendor Assessments:

Conduct vendor and service assessments, maintaining supply chain resilience data related to Important Business Services (IBS) and Critical/Important Functions (CIFs).nGovernance and Monitoring:

Manage the process to monitor resilience, updating metrics and assessing vulnerabilities across the supply chain.nTesting and Response:

Coordinate testing activities, scenario testing workshops, and develop response plans based on outcomes.nDocumentation and Compliance:

Liaise with vendors and relationship managers to ensure documentation is in order, supporting regulatory self-assessments and internal governance.nContingency Planning:

Support exit planning and recovery planning for supplier failure events.

What We’re Looking For:nTechnical Knowledge:

Detailed knowledge of UK Operational Resilience Policy Statements, EU DORA requirements, and supply chain resilience or third-party risk management.nLeadership Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve risks, manage projects effectively, and develop solutions to complex problems.nCommunication & Stakeholder Management:

Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships and engage with senior stakeholders across the business.
