My client is seeking an experienced Head of Estates to lead and take charge of their Hospice environments, from buildings, shops and grounds, ensuring their environments are safe, welcoming and well-maintained, so that outstanding care and support can flourish. This is a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the development and delivery of the Estates Strategy across all Hospice properties. From planned maintenance and capital projects to sustainability initiatives and health & safety compliance, you’ll make sure every site is fit for purpose and cared for to the highest standard. What you’ll be doing Leading the Estates team and shaping their long-term strategy for buildings, grounds, vehicles and site services Driving capital projects and refurbishments, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget and to exceptional standards Championing sustainability through their Green Plan, reducing carbon impact and embedding environmentally friendly practices Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations (fire safety, legionella, asbestos, etc.) and acting as the “responsible person” where required Supporting the retail estate with maintenance, compliance, lease negotiations and shop fit-outs Collaborating with senior leaders, contractors and partners to deliver value for money and continuous improvement About you They’re seeking a confident, experienced estates leader with: BIFM Level 6 or NEBOSH Diploma is desirable Proven success in managing estates teams, building maintenance and on-site health & safety Strong project management skills and the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on delivery A full, clean driving licence Why join?
