Retail Area Manager for well established Food Retail Business based in Surrey. Passionate about driving sales performance, motivating and developing teams to deliver excellent customer service. Exciting opportunity to develop in the role to Retail Area Director level.

Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities for the role will include:nOwning retail operations and P&L – maximising sales, while controlling staff costs and wastenDeveloping shop management teams to ensure consistency of customer experiencenIdentifying growth and new business investment opportunitiesnMaintaining food safety – ideally level 3 certified, with experience training and controlling food safety across multiple sitesnLiaising with production teams to feedback on product quality, aiding in product development

Essential / Desirable skills include:nExperienced people-manager and effective leader from a Food Retail or Hospitality backgroundnAble to train and motivate staff to increase sales, reduce waste and maintain strong food safety standardsnStrong communicator with customers and colleagues and an effective problem solvernDriving licence and own vehicle for travel between retail outlets (fuel supplement provided)

Office hours, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week - permanent Saturdays, however flexible on day off during week. Salary Competitive with bonus potential.
