We are looking for an Operational Resilience Senior Manager to join one of our well known banking clients to help lead resilience capability, drive the bank-wide resilience programme, work with and influence all areas of this high profile Bank and it's outsourced partners in line with industry good practice and regulatory expectation, supporting colleagues in delivering resilient solutions for customers, embedding resilience in their culture, helping deliver a resilience risk and control framework and providing board-level assurance and that enables a structured management approach.


There is a lot of change in the function and the wider bank making this an opportunity that will be varied and fun in the short-term and will also offer great longer term career prospects.


What you’ll be doing:

Leading on strategic improvements, working with senior leaders across the business, including ExCo members.

Working with colleagues across the Resilience team in continually improving our resilience framework and system across areas such as IBS management and Scenario testing.

Resilience strategy, policy and framework development.

Implementing a resilience by design approach within Change Engagement.

Providing leadership and acting as deputy to Head of Resilience where appropriate.

Designing the change engagement approach for resilience.

Implementing education and awareness support tools.

Liaising with leadership across the bank, within the Group, and peers across the industry.

Involvement across all resilience pillars - Technology, Supply Chain, People, Property and Data.

Embedding an efficient and effective resilience culture within the Bank, through suitable processes and controls that work with colleagues in line with our Agile@ scale operating model.


We need you to have:

Operational Resilience regulations - knowledge and practical experience of implementing these within an organisation.

Experience of Operational Risk frameworks and policy management.

Leadership skills, developing a team and building capability across colleagues in the organisation.
