Job Title: Machine Operative
Salary: £16.13 per hour, Saturday Day x1.5 = £20.22ph, Saturday Night x1.5 = £21.17ph and Sunday = £23.06
Location: DS Smith Sheet Feeding, Cromwell House, Altendiez Way, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5YZ, UK
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing Contractual role initially for 3 months
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, double days, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm on rotation
Interview Format: Face-to-Face
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate machinery, ensuring all protocols are followed.
* Maximise operational efficiencies and minimise downtime.
* Achieve set productivity and performance targets.
* Maintain consistent quality standards.
* Conduct maintenance and cleaning tasks according to the planned maintenance schedule.
* Ensure all tasks are carried out correctly and efficiently.
* Assist with improvement initiatives as they arise.
* Support the implementation of new processes and improvements.
* Prioritise health and safety for yourself and others.
* Operate in line with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and company procedures.
* Immediately address and report any unsafe acts or health and safety incidents to management.
* Contribute to creating a safe working environment for all.
