Purpose
The Head of Growth is a senior leadership role responsible for driving incremental
business growth among existing and new client accounts, enabling Envision Medical Communications
(EMC) to meet its financial targets and to drive sustainable growth. This role collaborates with agency
leaders and across the wider Envision Pharma Group (EPG) to successfully lead RFI/RFP and pitch
processes, delivering winning proposals that continually meet the evolving needs of clients. The Head
of Growth is also critical to identifying and developing new services/solutions that differentiate EMC
from competitors (including but not limited to AI powered solutions) in collaboration with technology
and external vendors as appropriate. They are critical to instilling a growth mindset among agency
teams through programs including, but not limited to, Keystone Academy and EPIC.


Responsibilities

• Proactive and visible contribution as part of the group support senior leadership team.
• Identify and drive organic and new growth opportunities in partnership with internal teams, GBD,
and across verticals.
• Identify and implement innovative and differentiated solutions to future proof the agency (including
but not limited to, publications and medical communications).
• Drive demand for and engagement with new services and solutions both internally among agency
teams and externally with key clients.
• Collaborate with agency leadership and GBD to identify whitespace opportunities and to lead the
development of pitches/proposals/innovative solutions.
• Develop pitch best practices and winning strategies for implementation across agencies.
• Inspire and develop high-performing pitch teams, ensuring a depth of expertise and pitch-winning
capabilities across agencies.
• Take a lead role on client facing projects as necessary, guiding teams to deliver cutting edge
solutions which enable EMC to maintain and grow client relationships.
• Work collaboratively with leaders across the organization and leverage performance metrics to
ensure optimization and maximal conversion of new business opportunities.
• Ensure decisions are guided by organization and functional strategies and objectives.
• Promote Envision values and a culture of excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous
learning.
• Other duties as assigned. Reports into the Global Head of Client Strategy and Growth.

Role Requirements
Education and Experience
• Advanced degree in clinical or life sciences discipline preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of business development in a medical communications environment required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Advanced knowledge of medical communications service lines (e.g., publications, strategic
medical communications, multichannel, omnichannel etc.).
• Keen interest in innovation and identifying new client solutions aligned to strategic needs.
• Skill at developing, delivering, and presenting pitch proposals.
• Skill at engaging cross-departmental resources.
• Skill working with individuals at all levels in the company.
• Ability to drive RFI/RFP pitch processes.
• Ability to drive internal and external thought leadership, including content and insights.
• Ability to provide timely and meaningful feedback to team and leadership is essential.
• Ability to build and promote a positive team environment.
• Ability to work within deadlines and effectively prioritize work.
• Ability to persuade, build consensus, and gain cooperation from others to accomplish goals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing.
