Our Balfour Beatty Highways business has a terrific opportunity for a Highways Inspector for our Highways DBFO.
What you'll be doing
As a Highways Inspector, you will be supporting the Operative Team managing all the costs related to the DBFO contract.
Identification of maintenance works;

Identify works and create works orders;

Assist with maintaining the programme of and undertake network inspections, if applicable;

Assist with maintaining the defect data base;

Undertake Routine and Specialist surveys including lighting patrols as required;

Assist with the production of road traffic orders (TTRO);

Act as an out of hours Duty Officer for Winter Maintenance and Emergency Response;

Assist with the coordination with National Highways and Local Authorities;

Maintain Road space requirements and Network Occupancy requirements;

Assist with the production of works estimates
