Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our clients Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy Team. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality health and social care services to the local community. If you have a minimum of one year of experience in adult social care and a background in assessing for minor equipment and adaptations, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of individuals with varied and complex needs, ensuring comprehensive and personalised care.
Conduct assessments for minor equipment and adaptations, including level access showers and stairlifts.
Lead coordination of care and support for users, involving their carers/families and other professionals as needed.
Ensure accurate and thorough input of information for monitoring and planning purposes.
Strive to provide an efficient and cost-effective health and social care service, utilising appropriate resources from Social Services, Health, the Council, the community, and other non-statutory organisations.Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience working within adult social care.
Proven experience in assessing for minor equipment and adaptations.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
