We provide high-quality ambient, chilled, fresh, and frozen produce from around the world and supply some of the most prestigious chefs in the country. At present, most of our customers are London-based, but we have already begun the expansion process into other major UK cities such as Manchester, Brighton and Bristol. The future is very promising

Location – Remote (Field Sales) Birmingham, Oxford, Guildford, Windsor, Henley, The Cotswolds, Stratford Upon Avon, and surrounding territories

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in key territories, including Birmingham, Oxford, Guildford, Windsor, Henley, The Cotswolds, Stratford Upon Avon, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and maximizing revenue potential within their designated region.

Responsibilities:nIdentify and target prospective clients within the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, gastropubs, and catering companies.nDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve the business’s objectives and targets.nBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.nConduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.nCollaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to deliver tailored solutions and exceed customer expectations.nPrepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients.nNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both Woods Foodservice and our clients.nMonitor sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to management.nRepresent Woods Foodservice at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.nStay abreast of developments in the foodservice industry and continually seek opportunities for professional growth and development.

Qualifications:nProven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the food service or hospitality industry.nStrong knowledge of the local market and customer base in the designated territories.nExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.nResults-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.nValid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
