Vitacress Salads are looking for a Yard Operative.  
4 on 4 off Shift pattern
(Apply online only)
£33,488.00 per annum
In this role you will have the opportunity to support our busy Transport department by maintaining a safe clean yard environment whilst also assisting the Factory, Farms and our Transport team providing crates and pallets in time for their operations.
You will get to see firsthand how our busy operations work at Vitacress Salads and will play a vital role in keeping the cogs turning. A primary focus within the role is Health and Safety, not just for yourself but also for others.
Main Responsibilities:
Loading and Offloading vehicles in a timely manner, and safely stacking crates and pallets in batches.
Crate Stock Check
Waste removal – Emptying general waste into compactor and operate compactor.
General care of the yard and grounds, i.e. Gritting around site
Keeping stock of Grit bins, spill kits and spill bins. Ideally you will have experience working in an external working environment, working to Health and Safety regulations preferably within a Yard setting.
You will also hold a Forklift License
