Flourish Education are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support in a local partnership Primary School in Quinton. This school is a 2-form entry, Ofsted ‘Good’ rated school, the school aim to provide a nurturing environment where children can flourish socially and academically.
Our client is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support within their SEND resource base, supporting children, across the Primary age range, who have SEND. The responsibilities of this role will include supporting children with a range of needs including Autism and ADHD, working in small groups and 1-1 interventions and working to EHCP’s and IEP’s.
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the academic year.
The responsibilities of this SEND Teaching Assistant Role:
Provide 1-1 support to students with SEND across Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Assist in implementing tailored EHCP's and IEPs within the SEND Provision.
Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt the National Curriculum to suit individual student needs.
Support students with both diagnosed and undiagnosed SEND needs in a resource base within a mainstream Primary School setting.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment in line with the school's ethos.
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous UK TA experience in a school setting, particularly with SEND.
Familiarity with the National Curriculum, including Reception, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Experience working with EHCP’s, IEP’s, and supporting students with SEND.
A relevant qualification in supporting learning (Level 2 or Level 3).
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:
£85.02 - £98.41 per day, which equates to £16,578.90 to £19,894.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
The option of PAYE or Umbrella.
Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.

This position is in Quinton, which is easily commutable from Harborne, Bartley Green, Halesowen, Selly Oak, Edgbaston, and Bearwood. The school is a well-established Primary School with onsite parking and excellent transport links to Birmingham and surrounding areas.
