This position is ideal for someone currently in a customer service or technician role, looking to advance their career and handle more intricate or high-value commercial claims, with potential progression into an adjusting role.
Collaborating closely with commercial adjusters, you will play a pivotal role in managing direct cases. Drawing upon your expertise and background knowledge, you will make well-informed decisions for each claim. Additionally, you'll support your colleagues by exchanging insights, gathering evidence, and liaising with external parties to ensure comprehensive case documentation from initiation to resolution or repudiation.
Crucially, you'll possess the empathy to understand our customers' perspectives fully and the discernment to make decisions based on factual evidence, treating each claim on its own merits.

Qualifications and traits we're looking for:
- Prior experience in handling household and commercial property damage insurance claims is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on attentive listening and responsive action.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while adhering to service level agreements.
- Capacity to work independently and assist adjusters in resolving caseloads efficiently.
- Skill in cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction throughout the claims process.
- Demonstrated understanding and empathy when dealing with sensitive situations.
- Strong organisational skills, enabling effective prioritisation of daily tasks.
- Proficiency in keyboard and IT operations.
