As a Commercial Claims Handler, you will play a pivotal role in managing direct cases, collaborating closely with commercial adjusters, and making well-informed decisions for each claim. You will also support your colleagues by exchanging insights, gathering evidence, and liaising with external parties to ensure comprehensive case documentation from initiation to resolution or repudiation.

Key qualifications and traits we're looking for include:

  • Prior experience in handling household and commercial property damage insurance claims is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on attentive listening and responsive action.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while adhering to service level agreements.
  • Capacity to work independently and assist adjusters in resolving caseloads efficiently.
  • Skill in cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction throughout the claims process.
  • Demonstrated understanding and empathy when dealing with sensitive situations.
  • Strong organisational skills, enabling effective prioritisation of daily tasks.
  • Proficiency in keyboard and IT operations.
