Source Solutions are proud to be working with a leading, highly regarded contractor and platinum award investor in people within electrical infrastructure, a pioneer for reduced carbon solutions and innovator within net zero strategy, to identify a skilled and experienced Procurement to take a lead on a large-scale and key set of projects.
This is a key and autonomous role leading on sourcing and procurement efforts for a group of projects cumulating several hundred million ££’s over a number of years. The Project Procurement specialist will be responsible for the full gamut of sourcing activities including materials, professional services and construction subcontractor contracts to include civils, structural and construction.
The project is centred around the design and build of an entirely new electricity network, ranging from 11kv – 132kv and will be an enormous multi-disciplinary project in the build of the substations’ structure, internal HV systems and supporting infrastructure such as road access, lighting, cabling and routing etc.
This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist with strong experience of materials, services and contracts within construction / utilities / power, who wants to take ownership of a large-scale project with huge future potential.
Candidate profile:
* Strong project procurement experience across materials, services and contracts
* Experience of large-scale construction or infrastructure projects that include electrical engineering (ideally HV/LV)
* Client facing experience
* Ability to work autonomously and lead sourcing and procurement activities
* Qualifications or certification within procurement / supply chain – or relevant engineering discipline
