The day to day:
Head a multidisciplinary team of Engineers, including Heads of Engineering and seasoned engineers as direct reports.
Formulate and implement strategies for business or department to fuel our growth.
Work in tandem with product, design, data, user research, and marketing teams to discover and validate new opportunities for enhancing our products and platforms.
Address the requirements of both B2B and B2C customers.
Adopt an experimentation-centric and data-driven approach that emphasizes swift iteration.
Guide planning processes and roadmap prioritisation, ensuring alignment within the team and with broader business goals and objectives.
You are driven and capable of accelerating the career growth of your direct reports.
Transform best practices into a mature, enterprise-class service delivery model that is accessible to the business.
You have experience leading Engineering organizations of 30-50 individuals, including managing several Engineering Managers and Senior Engineering Managers.
You have a five-year track record of successfully launching products and platforms in a consumer tech company. Experience in a B2C product environment is preferred.
You can communicate effectively and persuasively to a diverse range of audiences in a structured manner.
You are adept at systematically breaking down and solving complex problems.
You have strong examples of using data to inform your thinking, can identify key metrics and their drivers, and evaluate the success of your work.
You make sound decisions in complex situations where there is often no "right answer".
You build diverse leadership teams around you, fostering constructive challenge and innovation.
You prioritize high-value work, both for the product and your own time.
You have experience in talent development and culture building. You can quickly build trust and enable your teams to perform at a high level. What's in it for you:
