Electrical Engineering Director

Orion Electrotech is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Director to lead our Production Engineering and Facilities team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, focusing on electronic assemblies and production engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Production Engineering and Facilities teams to achieve efficient production operations.
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of production processes, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain) to align production needs and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to staff.
  • Drive innovation and improvements in production techniques, focusing on cost reduction, product quality, and throughput.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Production Engineering within a manufacturing environment, particularly with electronic assemblies.
  • Strong technical understanding of production engineering processes and equipment.
  • Experience managing or leading teams within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational improvement.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior leadership and other departments.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement.
