Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Strategic Finance Business Partner in Sutton. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
Make strategic decisions and translate this into corporate policy and strategic advice
Support the Head of Financial Planning & Business Partnering to provide expert advice and guidance
The post holder will take responsibility for leading and managing the development of the organisations' Capital investment programmes
Apply professional judgement to interpret and apply policies and procedures to meet specific local or service needs.
Provide day to day management and professional supervision to staff to ensure operational plans and activities are delivered effectivelyThe candidate:
Holds a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CIMA, MBA etc) or demonstrable equivalent experience of operating at that level
Experience in developing and implementing capital investment strategies and programmes
Experience aligning the capital strategies with the treasury strategy by working closely with colleagues across the finance unit
Experience leading the end of year closing of accounts processes for capital and ensuring all capital transactions are appropriately reflected in the organisations' accounts
