Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Manager to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview: As the Mechanical and Electrical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the M&E services across multiple client sites within a commutable distance to Birmingham. You will be responsible for the effective management, planning, and execution of all mechanical and electrical maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality M&E services.
* Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, electrical installations, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
* Ensure all M&E services are delivered in line with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
* Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
* Liaise with clients to ensure their needs are met and provide technical expertise on M&E issues.
* Manage budgets, resources, and contracts effectively to ensure cost-efficient service delivery.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.
* Provide leadership and training to your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar Mechanical and Electrical Manager role within building services or facilities managemen (2 years management required)
* Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical installations, and plumbing.
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering (HND, HNC, or equivalent).
* Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and resources effectively.
* Excellent communication and client management skills.
* Full UK driving license
