Recurrent Energy is focused on bringing low-cost clean energy and meaningful economic development to communities across the globe.


With a strong track record of originating, developing, financing, and building nearly 9 GWp of solar and 3 GWh of battery storage power plants across six continents, Recurrent Energy has established a leadership position in both solar and battery storage project development. With a total pipeline of 25 GWp in solar and 47 GWh in battery storage, of which 14 GW and 12 GWh respectively already have interconnections (as of January 31, 2023). In addition, Recurrent Energy’s services business has 6 GW of projects under operations and maintenance contracts, either operational or contracted projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Support project development management and monitoring activities for the UK market
  • Identify, analyse and support the responses to call for tenders together with the BD Manager and the company advisors
  • Closely monitors PV market regulation, projects and players in the UK market, and proactively provides suggestions to the Business Development Team
  • Support the preparation of internal and external presentations
  • Support the Business Development team in preparing Investment Committee memoranda, addressing Q&A from IC and Risk Management, coordinating input/information from/to other departments (PSF, Legal, EPC) in order to secure investment approvals for the deals in progress on time
  • Maintains and updates reports on project pipeline status and progress for EMEA senior management
  • Maintains and updates project data rooms according to internal standards, assists in due diligence processes and project acquisition closings
  • Management of PRF/CRF requests and approval process
  • Identify projects and partnership opportunities to grow the UK pipeline for utility-scale solar PV / BESS projects
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Business Development Team


Work Experience


  • Previous experience in the Solar PV sector advantageous
  • Previous exposure to UK solar PV development advantageous


Education / Training


  • Bachelor’s degree in renewables / engineering / economics / finance / business related
  • Specialized master’s degree or additional training on renewables / solar PV / energy storage a plus
