Business Development Manager
Location: Glasgow

Ready to put your business savvy to use at a Fortune Global 500 organization? UPS Glasgow is seeking our nextBusiness Development Managerto continue our legacy of success. In this position, youll play a pivotal role in helping us deliver what matters to our customers by taking ownership of the sales process from start to finish.

Your days will be spent prospecting new business opportunities, gathering intelligence, negotiating deals and tending to account maintenance. Together with a dedicated team by your side, youll be ensuring an incredible service experience with each client you meet.

This is a full-time position that will rely on a proven track record in a sales environment to jumpstart your success. Your established skills and expertise will be further enhanced by our arsenal of training, resources and support, giving you the opportunity to grow your career exponentially at UPS.

Your Tasks

  • Identify and create new business opportunities
  • Grow and support our existing customer base to generate revenue and ensure excellent customer service
  • Prepare and present informative, compelling presentations
  • Maintain and monitor customer records and account performance to attain key objectives

Your Skills

  • Background in freight logistics
  • Proven business-to-business field sales experience
  • Established project and time management
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations
  • Motivated by individual and collaborative targets
  • Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills
  • A full, clean driving license (for at least two years)
