Contract length: 12 months
We are currently representing a school who are looking to hire a committed and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join their staff for next term.
Responsibilities
* The successful Computer Science Teacher will plan creative lessons with excellent subject knowledge, undertake marking, and will participate in parents evenings.
* It is important for this school that the Computer Science Teacher recruited is able to liaise with parents and provide feedback on student achievements and progress.
* There will be an expectation for the successful Computer Science Teacher to create a safe and supportive learning environment with routines and structures that align with the school's core values.
* The Computer Science Teacher recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure student continuously challenge themselves to improve.
Qualifications/Experience
* You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
* Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
* To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.

* This Academy is a publicly funded independent state school and is part of a large National Trust is situated in Surrey
* This Academy is a school for young people all of whom have a statement identifying Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties as their primary need
* This Academy can admit up to 60 boys between the ages of 11 to 16 and can offer up to 22 residential places (including extended days) on a flexible basis for up to 4 nights per week
