Are you a Mechanical Engineering Assessor with AQA or CAVA qualifications, looking for a flexible role at one of the UK's largest engineering companies offering the opportunity to shape the future of engineers & pathways to develop within the company?
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a multi-billion-pound global engineering services company who have an industry reputation for providing one of the top training and progression programs in the industry. The company often works with the Royal Navy and the MOD in several large-scale projects around the UK & are renowned for its commitment to innovation and technology. In this role, you will conduct quality assurance activities, ensuring adherence to teaching, learning, and assessment standards. Daily responsibilities include managing assessment documentation, providing timely feedback to apprenticeship coaches, and collaborating with team leaders for the effective completion of learner programs. Additionally, you will actively participate in standardization activities to maintain accuracy and consistency in assessment decisions.
This role would suit a Level 3 & CAVA /IQA qualified Engineering Assessor or similar looking to take the next steps in their career to develop and inspire the next generation.
THE ROLE:
* Conduct daily quality assurance activities to uphold Babcock's teaching and assessment standards.
* Manage assessment documentation, offering timely feedback to apprenticeship coaches.
* Collaborate with team leaders to ensure the effective completion of learner programs and participate in standardization activities for accuracy in assessment decisions.
THE PERSON:
* Mechanical Engineering Background
* AQA or a CAVA assessing qualification
* Based around the Midlands
