What will you be doing?As a Senior Applications Support Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert technical guidance and translating business requirements into effective IT solutions, and providing expert advice on the best applications to implement ensuring that our portfolio meets both current and future business needs.
Our key stakeholders include Housing, Revenue & Benefits, Elections, Regulatory Services, Education, Adult Social Care, Children’s Trust and Customer Services, and you’ll be supporting a wide array of business applications such as AWS, Biztalk, Capita Open Housing, Capita Academy, CareFirst, Enterprise Document Management, Express, GoAnywhere, Liquid Logic, VMware, Zenworks etc.
You'll collaborate closely with the wider DTI team encompassing infrastructure, networks, DBAs, desktop support, and the service desk to ensure smooth DTI delivery, minimise downtime, and enhance overall efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include upgrading server software and packaging applications for deployment, managing windows updates across all servers, managing documentation and providing training. You will also lead risk analysis, oversee project delivery, resolve complex technical issues, and spearhead strategic upgrades to maintain optimal system performance."
