Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced EV Charger Installation Technician to join our team on a Sub contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing electric vehicle (EV) chargers at residential properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves working closely with our partners, Octopus Energy, Shell, and Ohme, to support their growing demand for EV infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Install EV chargers at domestic properties according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
* Perform site assessments to determine the best installation locations and ensure electrical compatibility.
* Carry out electrical wiring and testing to ensure safe and efficient operation of EV chargers.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the installation process.
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication with clients and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain accurate records of installations, including photographs, diagrams, and installation reports.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. (MUST)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical installations.
* experience in EV charger installations (preferred)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and 2391.(MUST)
* Gold card (desired)

* Customer-Focused: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Adaptable: Ability to work independently and manage multiple installations efficiently.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with mobile apps and technology used for installations and reporting.
