Location:
The role is based in Belfast but if you are based in England, Scotland or Wales the role can be remote with Travel for meetings when needed.
The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will provide technical expertise in the secure design, implementation, and development of the firm's M365 environment. The architect will develop and implement policies to ensure the security and availability of the firm's M365 applications.
Responsibilities:nResponsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of a secure M365 environment for the firmnLead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies in the firm.nAct as SME for Microsoft security suite with specialist responsibilities in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365
The Microsoft Security architect we are looking for needs to be well versed and experienced in Azure cloud technology and migration so that they can immediately bring benefit to the firm’s Azure cloud adoption, and act as a leader not only to the security team but to other technical teams in the firm.
It would be ideal if your also knowledgeable in AWS, GCP. Security wise you will be knowledgeable in CASB, CSPM and IAM, SIEM etc.
Required Skills & experience:nTenure as a Microsoft Security Architect in a blue-chip clientnStrong Azure experiencenExperience of a Cloud Adoption projectnComputer Science Bachelor’s degreenGood demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platformsnSome AWS and/ or Google cloud platformsnCCSP and CCSK preferrednExpert in Microsoft security suite such as Microsoft defendernExperience of CISSP, SSCP, CRISC or CGEIT would be beneficialnExperience as a MS Azure Cloud Architect or Engineer is preferrednWorking knowledge of SOAR concepts and toolsetsnAuthoritative understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles such as VPN, segmentation, WAF, access control, CASB.nWorking knowledge of encryption technologies
