Excellent training and development opportunitiesYour Responsibilities as Specialist Admission Assessor:
Be responsible for completing a detailed assessment of all consultations and applicants current educational, social, emotional, physical and mental health needs using all their relevant documents such as school reports, risk assessments, Education Psychology reports and their Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) along with face to face meetings with the applicant and their family/carers, external professionals get the most up to date snapshot of the student's needs.
Ensuring that equipment/materials required for assessing/teaching/learning are safe and appropriate.
Responsibility for the identification and ordering of equipment within curriculum area budget.
Management of a caseload of consultations, responding to OHC priorities and statutory complianceYour Requirements as a Specialist Admission Assessor:
Minimum of a Level 3/4 qualification
Qualified Teacher (QTS or QTLS)
To have a detailed understanding of Education Health Care plans and the associated guidance.
