From day one, you will be working alongside the Finance Manager & Assistant Management Accountant who will support you throughout your development. Throughout your Apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to many areas of the finance function and develop skills that will kickstart your career in finance.

LocationnThe position will be based in our United Kingdom offices, located in Grazeley. Reading, England.

Responsibilities & Duties

About the role:

Entering all transactional information into the finance system.nResponsible for processing supplier invoices and sending remittances.nReconcile supplier statements and deal with any queries.nWork with the project team to raise purchase orders as required.nMonitor and manage the central finance mailbox.nMonthly expense processing.nPreparing weekly payment runs.nSupport the Finance Manager with wider finance administration duties.nAssisting with bank reconciliations.nAssisting with the annual audit process.nMaintaining the company chart of accounts.

The training you will be getting:

You will be studying the AAT Level 3 qualification, and you will attend study courses with First Intuition Ltd who are based in Reading town centre.nFirst Intuition offers classroom courses and virtual classroom courses.nExpected duration is 18 months.

Flexible working. The expectation is the role will be fully office based initially as you learn and train. After 6 months we'd ask that you come into the office a minimum of 4 days a weeknReal, valuable, on-the-job training and experiencenCompetitive starting salaryn25 days holiday plus bank holidaysnFull study support for AAT Level 3. On successful completion of AAT Level 3, we would look to support the right candidate with AAT Level 4.

What we ask fornA minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.n3 A-Levels grades A-C is preferable but not essentialnAbility to commute to our office in GrazeleynEU citizen or possesses a current UK Tier 1 Visa and is eligible to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK.
