Marketing Executive

A global leader in high quality, safety-critical products are looking for a Marketing Executive to join their marketing team. Historically the marketing has been UK centric but as the business grows and expands the team will be operating globally – targeting more accurately the EU and US market.
Info about what the Marketing Executive role entails
A very interesting and social marketing role in this established team (working with a Head of Marketing, Content Marketing Manager, PR and Social Executive and a Campaign Manager). The team is growing and lots of change is coming as the team is looking to operate more globally.
You will produce content for social media and need to be good at relationship building. Lots of your time will be spent in the business with the product team, the technical team and the sales team – really understanding what they need. You will analyse the assets going out to sales partners, produce sales aids and be getting into the heads of the customers.
You will be able to graft technical information easily. The most urgent focus is to manage the technical sheets, the website updates and provide support to the day to day content creation. You will be taking new product information and new campaign information and making sure the website is updated and in good order.
On top of this there are a lot of product launches ongoing and as the Marketing Exec you will make sure all the technical information that supports sales is up to date and accurate and positions things clearly.
Essential Requirements of a Marketing Executive
* A good grounding in marketing across a variety of channels (e.g., you will know about website journeys, digital marketing and understand what you might send to a partner).
* You will have a good grasp of the landscape – the main channels at the moment are web, social and sales enablement for partners
* You will have an ability to grasp technical information with either a technical qualification, a technical hobby or with experience with marketing in a technical / engineering / product manufacturing type environment
* You will be a good relationship builder as lots of time spent with the product team, the technical team and the sales team
* Willing to be on site at the Hampshire facility on a hybrid basis – 50/50 expected
Desirable Requirements of a Marketing Executive
* Marketing flair and creativity with experience in video, design, and photography. This is not essential as there is the resource in place to outsource this when needed.
