Behaviour Mentor - SEMH School - Shepherd's Bush, West London - Full-time - ASAP Start
Empowering Learning is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic SEMH school located in the heart of West London, Shepherd's Bush. This challenging yet rewarding role is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a daily rate of £95 - £100 (depending on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behaviour within a secondary special school setting.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, fostering trust and rapport.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised intervention plans.
Utilise strong behavior management skills to create a calm and patient atmosphere within the school.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience working with young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).
Completion of manual handling training is essential.
Strong behaviour management skills and a patient approach.
Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.The School: Nestled in the vibrant community of Shepherd's Bush, West London, our client is a secondary special school catering to students with SEMH needs.
