A large local association Is looking for an ASB Officer to provide a high quality, customer focussed service to residents dealing with all cases of anti-social behaviour (ASB), all forms of harassment, Hate Crime and legal action following conviction of criminal behaviour.
Job Title: ASB Officer
Location: Northampton
Contract type:12 month Contract Potential for extension
Hourly Rate: £25-£30/h
Working week:Monday to Friday 9-5pm Hybrid working 2-3 Days WFH
As an ASB Officer you will be required to:
• Effectively manage and deal with all cases of ASB, harassment, hate crime and serious criminal activities by taking appropriate action against those causing these issues whilst supporting those who are experiencing the nuisance.
• Engage with partnering agencies to ensure that a joined up approach is taken in dealing with ASB, harassment, hate crime and criminal activities. This will include arranging and attending case conferences and multi-agency meetings.
• Prepare evidence for action through the courts, and represent in court. Including preparing witness statements and submitting applications for injunctions and possession claims.
Essential Skills required for the ASB Officer
• DBS Enhanced
• Driving Licence and access to a car
• Detailed knowledge of Housing Law.
• Knowledge of social housing management procedures.
