About the role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN TA with a Specialism in SEMH to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our KS1 and KS2 students, providing tailored support to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role stands out due to its competitive salary of £85-£100 per day, access to a wealth of resources and workshop days for career and specialism development in SEMH, the opportunity to make a significant impact on student’s lives in a supportive and nurturing environment, and small class sizes ensuring personalized attention for each student.
Application Requirements:
• Relevant experience working with children with SEMH needs.
• A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to support students’ development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and parents.
• Qualifications in special educational needs are desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Work closely with class teachers to implement individualised learning plans.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
