Mothercare Global Brand is looking for a talented Content Creator to create on-brand, consumer right, video and photography content for use by global franchise partners in stores, online, social and marcomms. This content will enhance the sales of specific products, categories or the brand depending on the brief.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Collaborate with colleagues and/or work individually to generate creative concepts for video and/or photography in response to product and brand marketing briefs
  • Develop story boards and treatments for approval in pre-production meetings and shoot to the agreed approach
  • Deliver video edits and retouch (in collaboration with the Studio Retouchers) during post-production, efficiently and on-time
  • Take direction from campaign Art Directors on larger campaigns to maximise storytelling, cohesion and impact
  • Collaborate with the Global Brand Team to create compelling and imaginative ways to translate campaign content to the retail environment to inspire people shopping
  • Film brand events in accordance with the company critical path and the brief from Brand Operations, which may be product walk throughs and presentations
  • Ensure all content produced adheres to brand guidelines and reflects Mothercare’s aesthetic, tone, voice, and values
  • Upload assets to the digital asset management tool with complete information e.g. naming, metatags, expiry date
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Research and trial relevant software programmes and apps to determine efficiencies



Knowledge and Skills:


  • Proven experience in content creation, video (filming and editing) and photography (shoot and retouch), with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work across various platforms
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling, coupled with an understanding of consumer behaviour, retail (stores and online) and social media trends
  • Thorough understanding around the creative process and thinking ahead before each required step, with the ability to see projects through from brainstorming to delivery
  • Proficient with lighting, photography and video sets ups
  • Ability to convey ideas effectively and collaborate with team members.
  • Proficient with video-editing software and equipment including Adobe Creative Suite and in-app content editing
  • Experience of self-shooting including social-first content on mobile
  • Deliver to tight deadlines and be able to juggle lots of different tasks/projects.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
  • Inspired by global trends
  • Ability to put parents, babies and children at ease and capture their best moments
