We are working with a FMCG Manufacturer who are looking for a QA Technician to join their team based in South Manchester.
Responsibilities
Maintaining and calibrating measuring equipment to various testing standards.
Working with and under supervisor of the QA Supervisor and alerting the QA Supervisor of ongoing problems.
Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistence and integrity.
Complete raw material, packaging and factory specifications.
Root cause analysis.
To ensure the filling out and maintaining of any paperwork required.
Complying with any and all standards, internal policies and legal regulations that apply to the finished product.
To ensure good hygiene and housekeeping standards are employed at all times.
To perform accurate analysis of the product, process and packaging to determine its suitability for purpose.
To work with all team members to use their skills and knowledge to identify problems and implement opportunities.
Being aware of the individual product requirements and demonstrate the ability to identify problems.
Communication between QA Supervisor, QA Manager and Production teamsQualifications, Experience and skills
Strong analytical and mathematics skills
Willingness to work in noisy environments
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
Experience in a similar role
Knowledge of QA systems
