CAD Deputy Discipline Manager

to join the team in London

*Previous subsea projects experience a must for this role

The rolenReports to the CAD Discipline Manager (Europe).nSupports and collaborates with other CAD Deputy Discipline ManagersnProficient in creation and checking of models, engineering drawings, and sketches for procedures.nUnder broad direction assigns, oversees, checks and approves the work of the local CAD team.nSupports Tender, FEED and new project scope resource estimation and planning.nResponsible for the quality, completeness, and accuracy of produced drawings.nSupports the proposition, creation and updating of guidelines and procedures.nEnsures that all guidelines and procedures are followed in the Drafting Office.nSupports in department meetings.nSupports in recruitment and resource selection (staff and contractors).nSupports the CAD Discipline Manager to establish and update the overall resource plan.nSupports the CAD Discipline Manager when necessary (including covering holidays and sickness).nSupports in the training and mentoring of apprentices and junior staff.nSupports in delivering staff performance reviews for Drafting Office.nProficient with latest developments in CAD tools and applications.nResponsible for approving weekly timesheets and holiday requests etc for the staff in the team.

supervising

teams of CAD Designers.nExtensive experience in the use of Autodesk

Inventor,

AutoCAD

and Vault software.nProficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
