Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced Manufacturing Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client are a leading manufacturer of their industry. Full training will provided for this role.
Shift/salary:
* Shifts are continental: 4 x 12 hour day shifts (7am-7pm) followed by 4 days rest period then 4 x 12 hour nights (7pm-7am)
* This pattern continues, including days, nights and some weekends.
* £13.53, rising after 12 weeks to £14.03 once permanent/after 12 full weeks of work.
* All necessary training is provided however previous experience in a physical role and with working both days and nights would be a big benefit.
* Temporary to permanent opportunity.
* Weekly pay.
The role:
* Loading and unloading machines
* Machine minding / machine operating
* Quality checking products
* Completing assembly duties using hand held power tools
* Moving heavy raw materials where required
* Assisting in the moving of finished products
* General site maintenance and departmental upkeep in line with health and safety
The candidate:
* Can commit long term to the shift pattern
* Ability to work DAYS, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
* Is able to and from commute to Elland, Halifax for 7am Monday - Sunday
* Has previous experience in a similar or physical role
* Is receptive to training and willing to learn
* Can communicate well and has an eye for detail
Following 12 weeks probation period successful candidates will be offered a permanent contract within the company.
