We are recruiting for an experienced CNC programmer/setter operator, for a client based in Elland, HX5.

This is a permanent role, and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, expanding company.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Setting and operating 2 HAAS VF2 milling machines
- Setting and operating a MAZAK lathe
- Setting of tools, offsets, and jigs for component manufacture
- Ordering materials when needed
- Checking the components when machined
- Working with mainly aluminium and occasionally mild steel

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- CNC trained in metal manufacture
- CAD-CAM knowledge would be advantageous, along with writing/editing programmes unaided.
- Knowledge of HAAS and Mazatrol programming would be an advantage.

Salary & Benefits:

- Starting salary of £14.50 - £17.00 p/h but open to negotiations dependent on experience
- Wage will be assessed after 3 month probation period
- Company pension

- 22 days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

Hours:

- Monday to Friday
- 39 hour working week
- Day shift
- Occasional overtime available
