PSR Solutions are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join the team of a Main Contractor in the Midlands. This role offers the chance to manage multiple construction projects and report directly to the Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities of a Contracts Manager:
Project Management: Oversee construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
Health & Safety Compliance: Develop and maintain the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan, conduct safety audits, and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and interests fulfilled.
Quality Control: Establish, measure, and maintain quality standards in line with client and company requirements.
Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of resources and oversee the financial aspects of projects.
Team Leadership: Motivate and support Site Managers, providing guidance and resolving potential issues.
Reporting: Produce internal and external reports, continuously monitor project progress, and coordinate post-construction activities.
Bid Support: Assist the bid team with tender interviews, risk evaluations, and other tender stage activities.
Requirements of a Contracts Manager:
Proven experience in contracts management as a main contractor. Tier 1 or Tier 2.
Commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Demonstrated ability to meet project timelines.
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and Health & Safety standards.
Experience in the construction sector.
Full UK Driving Licence.
