Job Summary

Linum Consult is seeking a highly experienced Contract Manager to join their team in the West Midlands. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of various projects through the management of internal resources, adherence to company procedures, and strong working relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to protect and secure the company's contractual position.
  • Assist the tendering team in reviewing productivity rates, sequence of works, and contract terms to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work with the commercial counterpart to produce and maintain monthly cost reports for all live projects.
  • Ensure formal project handover meetings are conducted for each project won.
  • Coordinate resources and plan and produce works programmes.
  • Ensure clients' needs are clearly understood and communicated between all relevant parties.
  • Manage safety to company and legal standards across all projects, promoting a strong safety culture within the company.

Requirements

  • 10 years' post-graduation experience in managing concurrent contracts from a Tier 2 contracting environment.
  • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent in a relevant construction discipline.
  • NEBOSH Construction certificate.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of administering NEC forms of contracts.
  • Ability to manage larger contracts with on-site management staff and self-deliver smaller contracts directly with site operatives.
  • The right to live and work in the UK.
