MJM Industrial are looking for a skilled Site Manager to join a market leading company based at Heathrow, and other international airports.
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of installation works for the material handling systems. The successful Site Manager must have experience working on projects on an industrial sized scale such as Heathrow or Gatwick.
The ideal candidate for this position must be willing to travel around the UK and Ireland and have a background and knowledge of CDM projects, installing material handling systems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Experience in controlling multi-discipline teams (mechanical/electrical) within an airport / construction environment.
* You will be expected to attend all site meetings and produce relevant documentation that aligns with the Principal Centre of Competence (CoC) requirements.
* Effective communication skills in this position are essential, as well as the ability to understand project schedules and provide accurate progress figures to the project manager.
* Responsible for the effective control of all site activities, including lifting and hot works.
* Conducting site safety inspections.
Qualifications and Background:
* Engineering background – HNC/HND or equivalent.
* Broad knowledge of Health and Safety
* Have a valid SMSTS. First Aid at work, IPAF, IOSH or NEBOSH preferred.
* CDM Experience.
* To have managed industrial sized scale projects.
* Have knowledge and experience of working airside.
* Be willing to travel over the UK, Ireland and some international travel.
