Job Role: CNC Miller

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CAD/CAM Offline Programming using EDGECAM and the ability to edit programs using Fanuc & Sinumerik controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Program CNC 3, 4 & 5 Axis Milling machines online via Fanuc and Sinumerik controls.
Program offline via EDGECAM.
Set and produce first offs to ensure requirements are met and standards/tolerances are repeatable.
Produce machine set-up documentation.
Keep abreast of cutting technology, identifying, and developing new processes, and striving for continuous improvement in CNC machining.
Liaise with management to ensure program timescales are met or advised of potential difficulties.
Help production management in developing and implementing technical solutions to production-related process issues.
Liaise with Engineering/Quality departments to ensure Company procedures and quality assurance are maintained.
Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
Support team members with other tasks as needed.
Mentor new staff as required.
Help create and maintain a safe working environment, observing published Health and Safety procedures.
Carry out other reasonable and relevant tasks as required.
Requirements:
Experience with CAD/CAM Offline Programming in EDGECAM.
Ability to edit programs using Fanuc & Sinumerik controls.
Proficiency in programming CNC 3, 4 & 5 Axis Milling machines.
Strong understanding of machining standards and tolerances.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments.
Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
