They are looking for a experienced CNC miller/ turner to join their team on a long term basis. You will start life at Inviso Group as a Miller, Turner and CNC Programmer. A Miller, Turner and CNC Programmer prepares and operates various electrically and manually operated machines (Okuma, Colchester lathe, X,Y,Z machine), utilises bespoke machining software to enable correct machining of parts to design specifications and ensures attention to detail from start to finish. There is an expectation that additional training will diversify the successful candidate to enable support in all areas of production.
You will be involved in the direct manufacture and production of customer orders. Your progression will be closely monitored with regular coaching and mentoring advice given on how to move to the next level if desired, as well as support on career progression within the company.
A proven track record of career planning and progression can be displayed in this position as others can testify to. Repositions workpiece, changes tools and resets machine as necessary during production run.
Designs CNC programs and setup work functions on machines using in house software.
Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
Inputting the product design into the computer modelling software.
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
Advanced milling, turning, grinding and CNC setting/ programming skills.
Demonstrates housekeeping etiquette.
Problem solving- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Safety and Security Observes safety and security procedures, reports potentially unsafe activities or conditions immediately.

Applicants who have a background in manufacturing or who are newly qualified Operators are encouraged to apply. 50- £18 depending on experience.
Monday - Friday 8am till 5pm
