Family Support Social Worker

What You'll Do:
Make a Difference: Provide professional assessments and timely interventions to children and families, ensuring their needs are fully understood and met.
Strength-Based Approach: Work closely with families using the FSP Workbook modules and strengths-based techniques to drive positive outcomes.
Lead with Integrity: Attend and present at child protection conferences, reviews, and court sessions, preparing and submitting detailed reports.
Collaborate and Support: Work alongside your team and multi-agency partners to keep the child's voice at the heart of every decision.
Ongoing Development: Engage in individual and group supervision, ensuring continuous professional growth with guidance from experienced managers.
Be the Difference Maker: Investigate allegations of harm, conduct family assessments, and act as the team's duty worker, responding to new referrals on a rotational basis.

Senior Practitioner Pathway:
Have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience? You can progress to Senior Practitioner, provided you've spent at least 12 months in statutory social work and demonstrated leadership in similar settings.
