About the roleWe have three permanent posts available within the Targeted Support and Child and Family Centre Services in South Cambs:
Full-time District Family Worker (37 hours)
Part-time District Family Worker (18.5 hours)
Part-time Child and Family Centre Family Worker (18.5 hours)
Cambridgeshire County Council Targeted Support Service provides support to children, young people and their families. Each district team consists of Family Workers, Child and Family Centre workers, Young People’s Worker’s, Senior Transitions Advisors, Transitions Advisors, Client Researchers and managers. The team provides early intervention support to reduce the risk of harm and reduce escalation of problems to support keeping families together and achieve positive outcomes.
The role of a Family Worker is an exciting, dynamic and ever-evolving role, which offers Cambridgeshire families with a high-quality, bespoke package of support.

Interviews may include a young people’s panel in addition to a targeted support management panel.
